Country Bridal Shower
We’ve got a great new series coming your way called Plated Inspiration. Each week we are going to take a plate and build an entire party around the design. This week we are going with a Rustic Country Bridal Shower and I’m really just excited to start this new series.
We will share appetizers and food inspiration along with decorations, invitations and more all inspired by a plate. Crazy right? Well, I can not even begin to tell you how excited I am about this new series.
While this post is the first you’ll soon be able to find all the posts from this series in our “Plated Inspiration” Pinterest board. Make sure you pop over and follow us!

Here’s our Plate
We are going simple country. A little wood look with lace and flowers. It really lends to so many different party ideas but today we are going with a Back yard BBQ Bridal Shower! Let’s start with everyone’s favorite part. The food!
Whether your guest list consists of 24 or 84 guests a backyard bbq always gives you tons of food options. My favorite… A Mini Pie Bar. Check out these great pie bar ideas from Crazy for Us.
When feeding a large crowd anything you can make ahead of time will make your day run smoothly and I am excited to share with you a few of my favorite slider recipes that will surely be a hit and you can do a little of the leg work ahead of time.
BBQ Chicken Sliders from the Best Recipe Box
Crab Cake Sliders from A Zesty Bite
Hawaiian Ham and Cheese Sliders from Eating on a Dime
The ability to build these ahead of time and just heat them will make your day run smoothly.
Paper invitations, notes, and cards are so infrequently used anymore it’s always so special to find a beautiful invitation in your mail and I found a few that matched this theme perfectly.
Sometimes the most simple decorations are my favorite. My very favorite ones are decorations that you can reuse for more than one event. These fit perfectly.
Fun and Games
While games at a shower aren’t a must-have I was happy to find a few that matched our theme perfectly!
One little extra I found and just had to share was this sweet lace bridal sash! Classic and lovely!
Tell me what would you add to this sweet theme? Share with us in the comments below. As always thanks for stopping by!
